I am a Canadian acting teacher and director currently residing in the UK.
My work is frequently explored at drama schools across the UK, teaching various acting classes for undergraduate and postgraduate students.
I hold an MFA from the world-renowned Actor Training and Coaching program at The Royal Central School of Speech and Drama and am a graduate of The University of Windsor’s BFA Acting program.
I have spent over 20 years working as a professional actor and director. I have been teaching acting for over 15 years at institutions such as Kingston University, East 15, The Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, Algonquin College and The University of Windsor as well as developed a drama program with the National Academy of Chinese Theatre Arts in Beijing, China.
My practice carries both a rigorous eye on approaches to acting and an ethical standpoint related to inclusion.
I approach all work with a sense of generosity, charisma and playfulness.
My current research, which takes the principles of intimacy coordination and applies them to create a structure for practice to approach all actor training, was presented at the Theatre and Performance Research Association’s (TaPRA) conference as well as the ABCDE Conference (2021).
I am invested in facilitating an environment to help others learn, explore and connect with other people.
Having trained as an actor my 20’s attending both The Questors Theatre and Royal Academy of Dramatic Art, I spent a small stint as a professional working actor appearing in a couple of feature films and an off West End production of Tamburlaine.
I then went into the world of design and marketing and spent the next 25 years as a new business and sales director working at such agencies as HAVAS as the UK Group New Business Director responsible for 14 companies with an annual revenue of of 141 million I established Advocate International in 2010 a new business development and sales training agency.
Much of my work is involved with training teams of sales and client facing professionals as well as working with CEO’s and founders in refining and developing their techniques allowing them to be effective communicators.
I have an absolute passion for performance, and I’ve developed some skills and techniques that are unique, blending both psychology, practical exercises, sales techniques, and storytelling to help transform my students into inspired and fearless communicators. My work centres around developing the individual’s sense of self and stripping away the erroneous ideas to allow them to fulfil and exceed their previously assumed limitations and potential. Knowing that we are all frustrated storytellers I delight in unlocking the cages people have made for themselves!
I am a world traveler born and raised in Ottawa, Canada who now resides in London. I am also an actor, writer, director, producer, and the Artistic Director of Greenlight Theatre. I am a proud graduate of The University of Windsor’s BFA Acting program and have studied with the Moscow Art Theatre as well as the SITI company. My latest adventure was producing my newest written work titled MAZE. This new play was produced at the Toronto Fringe Festival and was genre highlighted for drama by the Festival itself.
I’ve based my teaching/directing style on Michael Chekhov’ssiko Feeling of the Whole, and use the Viewpoints practice to achieve body awareness in the space resulting in specificity with time and energy. I believe that to create groundbreaking work, you must lay the foundation; setting up ease in the space to create opportunities for rigorous exploration.
Under Greenlight Theatre, some writing credits include; MAZE (2023), Samantha: A Concept Album Brought to Stage (2019), Green in Blue (2018), The Heavy Weight (2016), and The Man on the Other Side (2015). Some of my directing Credits include, Checkpoint 300 (2019), The Audition (2023), Act 5, Scene 8 (2020), Semi – Present (2021).
I believe that in an ever-changing world, communication between human beings will be more vital than ever before. Conducting safe, effective and approachable communication will be the key skills to maintain our deep sense of human connection. I am keen to apply this directorial and writing lens, to give participants the tools to be the most efficient communicators possible.
I am a London-based voice and accent coach dedicated to empowering individuals to unleash the full potential of their voices.

Regardless of the voice I am working with, my ultimate goal remains the same: to unlock the true power and impact that lies within each individual’s voice.
My journey in voice coaching began during a foundation course in musical theatre at Mountview Academy of Dramatic Arts, where I gained invaluable insights into the world of voice work.
